General Questions about the Program

Q: How long do I have to take advantage of this offer?
A: This offer is only valid in the U.S. and Canada for The Sims Online game service accounts activated between April 1, 2004 and June 30, 2004.

Q: What are Simoleans?
A: Simoleons are the currency used in The Sims Online. Simoleon credits are virtual assets, with no cash value and may only be used within The Sims Online game service. Simoleon credits are non-transferable and may not be substituted, exchanged, sold or redeemed for cash or other goods or services.

Q: How will I receive my Simoleans?
A: Simoleon credits for active TSO accounts will be automatically deposited in-game under the account names identified during registration. If you were referred, you must have bought, registered and submitted either a referral code (from the instruction page) or used the link contained in your referral email. Both you and your friends' TSO account must be current, active and in good standing at the time of reward claim and distribution.

Q: Can I refer myself?
A: No

Q: How many Simoleans can I earn?
A: You earn up to 60,000 (20,000 per sim character (up to three) for each friend who registers using your code. There is no limit to the number of friends you can refer before June 30, 2004.

Q: How many cannon objects can I earn?
A: You'll earn one cannon object per sim character (up to three) for each friend who registers using your code. Again, there is no limit to the number of friends you can refer before June 30, 2004.

Q: What happens to my unused Simolean credits if I don't have three characters?
A: There is a limit of 20,000 Simoleans per active Sim-character, (up to three) per referral, and if you do not have three characters created the unused Simoleans will be lost. The distribution is as follows:

One Sim: 20,000 Simoleans
Two Sims: 20,000 Simoleans each
Three Sims: 20,000 Simoleans each

Q: Is there a limit to the number of people that I can refer?
A: No, you can refer as many people as you like up to June 30, 2004.

Q: Can I refer the same friend more than once?
A: No, they are limited to redeeming one offer per TSO Account.

Q: How do I get my Referral Reward?
A: Your friend must use the claim process URL contained in the referring email you generated. Or, a friend may use the unique code from the instruction page you gave to them at http://www.eagames.com/official/thesims/thesimsonline/us/nai/Referral.html (within 5 days of registering for The Sims Online game service).

Q: If my friend cancels, will I still receive my Simoleans?
A: Your friend must be an active player for at least 30 days.

A: You can earn up to 30,000 (10,000 per active Sim-character, up to three) on one account.

Q: How do I claim my Simoleans?
A: Use the claim process URL contained in the referring email you received from your friend. Or, go to http://www.eagames.com/official/thesims/thesimsonline/us/nai/Referral.html and enter the unique code from the instruction page you received (within 5 days of registering for The Sims Online game service).

Q: After I have been referred how quickly do I need to claim my Simoleans?
A: You must claim your Simoleons within 5 days of registering your non-trial copy of The Sims Online game service.

Q: What happens to my unused Simolean credits if I don't have three characters?
A: There is a limit of 10,000 Simoleons per active Sim-character (up to three) and if you do not have three characters created the unused Simoleons will be lost. The distribution is as follows:

One Sim: 10,000 Simoleons
Two Sims: 10,000 Simoleons each
Three Sims: 10,000 Simoleons each
